Tips for photography.

TIPS 1 - GET READY YOUR GEAR BEFORE SHOOTING.

Before you go shoot a wedding or anything you don't want your lens to filled with dust. Or not having enough battery life for your camera and flash don't you ?
_________________________________________________________________

1. Recharge everything you have your camera batteries and flash batteries it would be better to bring a few extra.
_________________________________________________________________2. Clean your lenses to avoid dust in your pictures. You don't want that to happen don't you ? right ?

3. Format your SD card before shooting or backup the files.

Tips 2  Get A dry box.
It's worth getting a dry box because this dry box prevents your gear getting fungus and dust inside.

Tips 3 Go for a prime lens if you're just starting out photography.
People usually think why the hell should I get a lens that can't even zoom well this lens really can help you a lot it will make you think and lets light in easily with a big aperture.

Tips 4 Use your camera to the limit.
some people just put their mode dial to auto. Why don't try shooting in 'M' it's quite easy and you decide how your picture will be like. And realize that's not the camera's fault.

Tips 5 post your work online.
To improve more on photography you should post your pictures online. So that you can see what people think of your work and critic on it. Critics also makes you learn more.

NEW PHOTOS YEAHH :D

Today has been an exhausting day I woke up and my parents called me to get ready to go out and get breakfast. After taking breakfast, we went home and change the car's tires. After changing the car's tires we rest a bit and at 11 we drove to Tamparulli for an engagement party. And I just can't help it to bring my camera and take those wonderful memories.

HDR

I was boring and desperate and I think about what should I do. So I think why don't I try HDR photography. So I picked up my camera from the dry box and take a tripod stand. Before shooting the HDR  I was looking the internet for guides on how to do HDR photography. After looking for a useful guide I start testing and taking pictures.

After shooting this photo I import the photos to PhotoMatix and it combine the three pictures 1. Underexposed 2.Right exposed 3. Overly Exposed. After the three photos were combine I started to edit and played with it for awhile.

After editing this is the final picture ( Above )

Need a tutorial ?

First take three photos of your subject remember you need to take pictures of 3 or 5 pictures
1. Underexposed 2. Correctly exposed 3. Overly exposed.

Examples (Above)

After that export you photos to Photomatix and there the program will combine these pictures to an HDR photo and after that you can fine tune your images there. After you finish editing you picture you will get an HDR photo.

Reliable camera shop in KK (Sabah) Malaysia

Many of people are asking which is the best place to get a camera. And other questions are. Are they reliable ? do they give big discounts ? Are they polite ?

I would like to recommend people to go FotoMat at Centre Point. It's located in the ground floor opposite to a disc shop. They offer good discounts. I bought my 50mm F/1.8 there with the lens itself it cost RM 350.00 and plus UV filter it will be RM 509.00 he gave me a discount RM300.00 with the Filter and the lens I really save a-lot there . And they're quite reliable and polite any question you ask they will answer without hesitation.

The second shop I would like to recommend is On-On Camera also known as MegaAvit. I just went there few weeks ago. They have many outlets but sadly i know only two of them on of them is located at Karamunsing shopping kompleks and one at Suria Sabah. Sadly I haven't purchase anything from there but I can tell you that place is quite reliable they have a wide range of camera, lens, reflector, tripod and dry box.

Canon 50mm F/1.8 IS II

After I purchase this lens , I realize it doesn't really focus that accurate and it produce lots of noice in the pic and while focusing but it's a good lens for beginner.it provides a big aperture of F/1.8 and it has the feature to produce a good image.Overall I rate this lens a 6 out of 10 :)
